Wine Bearer Creation      

In the autumn of 2006 I took a trip to Italy to visit the Tuscan countryside. I wanted to sample the wine and food I had heard so much about. It turned out to be an education on many levels, and I certainly came away with an appreciation for the beautiful landscape and the great food.

As educational as my trip was, it was an entirely new journey just to find a safe and cost effective way to return home with my wine. Wrapping clothing around each bottle in my suitcase was not the best solution. I was surprised to find that the shipping was more costly than the wine itself, and that there were no products on the market to help travelers in my situation. This was the beginning of a new mission to create a safe, stylish, and affordable bottle protection system. After returning to the states, I spent many months thinking about how to solve this problem. After a series of sketches and drawings I felt I had come up with the right design. Now it was time to create a prototype. I found a company that could make my prototypes and within a few weeks I had the first Wine Bearer in my hands. It worked great!In a dream, I came up with improvements to the design that would include inflation along with padding. At this point I had a second prototype made, incorporating the opinions of family and friends along the way. My trusted friend Ron joined me on this venture and was instrumental in bringing my dream child to life. Continually learning as we go, from finding manufacturers, to filing for patents in the US and abroad, this has been a journey of self discovery.

Ron and I bring our vision and personal integrity to this product that we have created with the highest standards of quality. We have spent countless hours creating, working and reworking to bring this unique bottle carrier to you.

The Wine Bearer represents the power we all have to create our deepest wishes through the belief in ourselves and by stepping always forward into what is possible. We wish you and your wine safe passage through all of life’s journeys.
